We exist to provide the highest level of care at the most affordable rate. We are here to help. For this reason, we created the Canaan Cares Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) group, which helps fund research and care options for elderly and disabled individuals. A portion of every dollar we make goes to the Canaan Cares Foundation.
Canaan Home Care understands both quality and cost are important to most consumers. We are committed to providing the absolute best care at the most affordable prices.
Canaan Home Care strives to provide the absolute BEST caregivers at the most affordable rates. We are committed to working with clients and their families to determine the skills needed vs. budget to best match care needs and expectations.
Regardless of skill or experience, all caregivers are thoroughly screened and exceed state and federal requirements, and all are more than capable of performing all non-medical home care tasks. On average, less than 5% of all applicants pass our tests and stringent standards.

San Diego (/ˌsæn diˈeɪɡoʊ/ SAN dee-AY-goh, Spanish: [san ˈdjeɣo]; Spanish for ‘Saint Didacus‘) is a city in the U.S. state of California on the coast of the Pacific Ocean and immediately adjacent to the Mexican border. With a 2020 population of 1,386,932, San Diego is the eighth most populous city in the United States and second most populous in California (after Los Angeles). The city is the county seat of San Diego County, the fifth most populous county in the United States, with 3,338,330 estimated residents as of 2019. The city is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy and Marine Corps, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center.
The state of California was admitted to the United States in 1850. That same year San Diego has designated the seat of the newly established San Diego County and was incorporated as a city. Joshua H. Bean, the last alcalde of San Diego, was elected the first mayor. Two years later the city was bankrupt; the California legislature revoked the city’s charter and placed it under control of a board of trustees, where it remained until 1889. A city charter was reestablished in 1889, and today’s city charter was adopted in 1931.
