We understand the challenges families can face. And we know these challenges are often presented to us as questions. Below we’ve added a few we hear a lot and are answering them the best we can!
Most of our caregivers are licensed by the state and are either Medical Assistants, Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), or Licensed Nurses (LVN or RN). All have passed a very thorough screening process, including a 50-state criminal background check, detailed reference checks, behavioral interviews, and caregiver competency tests. On average, less than 5% of all applicants meet our stringent standards.
As of 2016, all non-medical home care companies legally in the State of California will need to be licensed under the Department of Social Services. We have already received our license numbers: 304700021 & 374700014. All of our caregivers are on the California registry and have been cleared to work.
